The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Hi fellow readers
This post is close to my heart this week my all time favorite children book turned 45 years old Happy birthday to the Very Hungry Caterpillar. I loved this book its a fantastic book for children the main reason i loved this book because I loved the Caterpillar and all the food he munched into and at the end he turned into a beautiful butterfly. As a Kid I was lucky enough to read some fantastic books if it wasn't for the Very hungry Caterpillar and many more i wouldn't be reading today I loved to read these books anywhere at school at home in the car i read The Caterpillar inspired me that no matter what you are or who you are at the end you become something beautiful and even if you have to munch on food or have obstacles in your way you will always achieve your dreams so thank you to this book and the many books I read as a kid you have always stuck with me as a person I still read you to little kids today in school and i think its great when I sit down and go through books in the library or at schools and you are still there being read and I enjoy the thrill that you are being read by a whole generation of children and and I thank you the reader for helping the Very Hungry Caterpillar for reaching 45 years because if you didn't read it it wouldn't be hear with us today. And I can not wait to read The Very Hungry Caterpillar to my Kids in the future because I want my kids to grow up reading and be in worlds beyond there imagination.

RHIReviews Stormbreaker By Anthony Horowitz

Stormbreaker

By: Anthony Horowitz
My Edition Published in: 2005
Published By:Walker Books
Number of Pages: 236
Favorite Quote: "Killing is for grown-ups and your're still a child."
The Blurb: When his guardian dies in suspicious circumstances fourteen year old Alex Rider finds his world turned upside down.
Within days he's gone from school boy to super spy forcibly recruited into MI6, Alex has to take part in grueling SAS training exercises; then, armed with his own special set of secret gadgets, he's off on his first mission. But Alex soon finds himself in mortal danger. it looks as if his first assignment may well be his last....
My Thoughts
Wow Alex Rider is Brilliant. I adored this book what a Brilliant first book to the Series fast paced, Action filled and that's the first couple of chapters. This book was a Reread for me I first read this book/Series way back in year 9 and fell in love with the plot the chractures and the series as a whole so what's Storm breaker about. Meet Alex he is 14 year old living in London with his American guardian and in the first couple of pages Alex's world is turned upside down and he finds out is Uncle Ian Rider has died in a Mysterious circumstances and Alex goes and investigates his death and it leads him to MI6 were he finds out that his uncle was in fact a spy and Mr Blunt kind of forces Alex to go on a mission to Cornwall to investigate Herod Sayle and his Stormbreaker Computers. Before Alex goes he gets equipped with cool gadgets disguised as a game boy and computer game gadgets and it was this part that drew me in when I was age 14 the everyday things that can be turned into cool spy gadgets I loved that bit and so wished that my game boy was a high tech xray machine or that my zit cream tube was a cream to put on metal to escape. Alex goes to Cornwall and meets the very evil and sadistic Herod Sayle and Mr Grin and Nadia Vole and from the off Alex has to deal with the fact that this man ordered to kill his uncle. Alex gets to test the storm breaker computer. Alex gets into trouble several times and gets into very dangerous situations and I like that sense of danger that he faces when taking up this mission. I don't want to say too much because i don't want to spoil the book too much I loved the ending I didn't see it coming and i can not wait to read what happens to Alex in the next book it obvious MI6 is not letting him go in the future. I loved the Charctures and I can not wait to explore them in future books and to refresh my mind. This is a great first book to kick off the series and I for one can not wait to read the next book. a spy tastic 5/5 stars :)

Books To Film Saturday #2

Hi and Welcome to books to film Saturday I have 3 films that are based on books or comics.

Paddington

yes everyone favorite bear from Peru and loves munching on marmalade is coming to the big screen and hear is the Teaser trailer. When I first heard that Padding ton bear was going to be made into a movie I was a bit worried how are they going to do this what i have seen from the teaser trailer is they have done him Justice yes he is CGI so it might take away from the TV show that people grew up with but i will let you make your mind up.

Captain America The Winter Solider
The Next Film i am very very excited about and comes out int April Is Captain America the Winter Solider I saw the trailer in the Cinema and yes i had a bit of a  moment i really enjoyed the first film on Netflix and I can not wait for the sequel it looks epic and most important its very Marvel. I haven't read any Marvel comics yet but I am going to change that fact but if you are fan of Marvel then you can make your own mind up when you watch i am sure it will be awesome.

Noah
Based on the bible Story This retelling does look epic and I for one can not wait for this it stars Emma Watson Russell Crowe so sit back and relax and enjoy this epic Trailer. Noah has always been my favorite Bible story when i was a kid and I can remember making a animal for our primary school display this film looks and feels more to adults and the CGI looks stunning from what I see from the trailer it did give me spine tingles. Enjoy
