Review: Meet Lennie at the start of the book we meet her as she is grieving for her sister who tragically dies and the book follows Lennie her family and friends. Its mainly Lennie processing her greif and finding who she is without her sister. I loved the plot and the depiction of Greif as everyone greifa differently I liked Lennies poems through out the story on different things like coffee cup and paper and inside her beloved copy of wuthering heights this brings a who new dimension to Lennie charcture and her greif for Bailey. The writing style is good but there were problematic points in the book but thats mainly because of what Lennies feeling and wanting to be close to her sister but doing it the wrong way. The chractures are great and they all go on a journey Lennies progression is very well done and by the end you really want her to do well and hope that she can be herself and not in the shadow of Bailey or her Mom who is not around. Lennie has a great material figure in her Gran who is no nonsense and is also grefing bit trying to be strong for Lennie it feels in the book she is trying to keep her family together. So it feels upsetting whe  Lennies gran does break down and reminds Lennie that Lennie is not the only one who is hurting. I loved the book it has some really good points I will read more of Jandi Nelson's books in the future. The book is a slow burner and then it hooked me in the middle but the petered out in the end. I felt the end was very emotional and wasn't rushed. 4.5 stars for me

My Thoughts: I Loved Loved Loved this book so much the writing style is so whimsical and it has an air of Magical Realism its is in my Opinion the best Cecelia Ahern book ever its so cleverly written and the Charctures are so likable I love Laura as a reader I really felt her vulnerability as she is thrust ed into the modern world  after being secluded for so many years and living in a Forrest to having to take part in a talent show and be the star in a documentary. I also like Solomon he was amazing in my opinion her went to a great chracture journey his charcture felt trapped until he met Laura and i loved his and Laura Chemistry. The Charcture of Bo on the other hand I didn't like her at the beginning I hated her decisions in the story but then I warmed to her at the end and I just wanted to give her a big hug and tell her everything will be allright she also had a great charcture Development through out this book. I would of liked to find out more about Rachel as she was a Character who was in a same sex relationship and I would of liked to find out more about her Girlfriend and her instead of just spinnerets which is a shame as this could of changed the book and have a extra layer then just concentrating annoying Charctures like the guy who invented the Britain's got talent like show I did like the other contestants especially the contestant with the Dummy who gives Laura advice I liked his charcture so much. The Plot was amazing and the plot twist at the begnning and at the end I didn't see coming i love Solomon family apart from Rory who is a bit of a douche bag for what he did to Laura. I gave this book 5 out of 5 on goodreads as it was sooooooo good and i devoured it I would love to own this book one day and just reread it but read it slowly so I am soaking up all the words. Cecelia Ahern is a fantastic Author and i can not wait to see what she writes next. on this blog I give this book a Magical 10/10 so good.

My Thoughts: I don't normally like contemporary Romance but Jill Mansell has changed that for me. I enjoyed every moment of this book it had me intrigued from the first page to the last i couldn't put it down willing the charcatures to get to together to crying at the sad parts and laughing at the funny parts and even getting angry at the behavior of one charcture.The book is very funny and witty at time Jill Mansell has created at beautiful setting in a Village in the Cotswold's I felt like reading this book that i was one of the Villagers reading the book and that was how much I felt that I got sucked in. The development of the Charctures is really good they had good development which is rare for a comtempary Romance this book has none of the tropes of the Romance and I like that the Chractures do not fall in love quickly its a slow process and they go on dates before they declare that they love them. Lily Character goes on a very good journey trying to find out more about her mothers life as we find out quickly that her mum has died and finds a letter that her mum has written before her death on her birthday about the love of her life Declan and Lily writes to him inviting him over to find out more about her mothers life with him. Then there Corals development who has lost her husband and is trying to move on this is done sensitively and i am satisfied  with her story. I love Patsy and Dan chractures especially Dan who is a cheeky chapy  but I would of loved to have known what happened to there Mum Jill Mansell please tell me if you are reading this what did happen to there mum. But i love that Dan relationships dont last as he is secretly in love bless him. I dislike Lily's real dad couldn't stand him I also like Eddie and Lilys relationship they were very well suited I think but I knew it wouldn't last I loved the plot Twist I did not see it coming. All in all this such a great book to read if you are new to Contempary Romance and if you are new to Jill Mansells work and a great Summer read if you havent already got anything to read this summer. All in all a lovely Book I give it a 10/10.

I Am Malala Book Review

I read this book for Diverse A Thon back in January and I thought it was a really thought provoking and inspiring read. It follows Malala who got shot in the head by the Taliban and survived. I felt that this was more her Dads story as well as Malala and my Praise goes out to her Dad for having the guts to fight for Education for both boys and girls and for speaking out if it wasn't for him Malala wouldn't be speaking out and you can tell in the book that Malala really idolizes her dad and he inspires to to stand up for what is right. While reading this book I really learnt a lot especially about different cultures. While reading this book it made me thankful that I live in a country that is peaceful and we don't have to deal with the likes of the Taliban coming to destroy our peace like they did for Malala and I am also grateful while reading this book that I was able to have an education and it does break my heart that most people don't get that opportunity. The one thing that I got from reading this book that Malala family supported her all the way through her opportunity. The writing style of this book is very passionate and it did make me cry in parts. I like the fact the book is broken up and you get to see some really great photos in the book I love the one with her family all together in the UK. This book is a very strong book and at the focus is a young girl and her very strong relationship with her father and there shared bond over education and you can tell that she is inspired by her father. Its a must read book and I recommend it to everyone to read it once in there lifetime. I gave this book a 5/5 on Good reads.

DiverseAThon TBR #Diverseathon

I am Participating in DiverseAThon wich starts on the 22nd January to the 29th January 2017 Rules to read Diversely espcally own Vioces books i don't own many own voices books but I have found some Kindle books which I got for free  and one of my Resoulutions for 2017 is to read a diverse book once a month so lets get on with the Physical books that i am planning on reading.
The first book I want to read is a reread and its by an author who doesn't have the condition but I saw a lot of my Aspergers in the charcture and that book is the Curious Incident of the dog in the Night time By Mark Haddon. The book follows the main Charcture Christopher who has Autism/Aspergers and the book follows him as he discovers his neighbors dead Dog and all chaos is unleashed. The book deals with a number of issues including the people who don't have Christopher condition and how they relate to him it has a really good father son relationship and Christopher dad has to deal with his frustration being a single parent raising  a child with Autism/Aspergers and I thoroughly recommend this book for this Read A thon the book is written by Mark haddon and I will leave a link to the book from good read as well as the authors Bio.

The Next book which is a another reread is Noughts and Crosses By Malorie Blackman I read this book when I was at school and it made me feel really uncomfortable it follows are main chractures Callum and Sephy I would say this book is a retelling of Romeo and Juliette The book deals with Race but the class divides between Black and White people are reversed its not a easy subject to read and the ending is shocking as well as emotional the Charctures are very well written and development is spot on Malorie Blackman is also a person of Clour and is a superb Author I dont want to go into too much detail of this book because I want you to discover it for yourself this book is one of my top 5 books that will make you think about Race differently it is also the first book in the series this book will make you think about what is happening in the world right now especially with divide and has the topics of segregation.

The Next book i am planning on reading is I Am Malala By Malala Yousafzai I think she is one of the most inspirational young women that I admire not only was she Shot in the head by the Talbian but she was brave enough to stand up for Education for Women and girls and i am excited to read this book and find out what her life was like before and after her accident. for someone who was very lucky to be given and education some people are not as lucky so I am hoping I will learn about what it is like to not be able to have an education and what it is like to live in a country that is controlled by Terrorists the amazing thing is She survived her ordeal and won a Nobel peace prize if you havent had a chance to here her speak look her up she is an amazing speaker.

I dont know too much about this book I know its set in a war torn country but apart form that I am excited to learn what the book is about and I am excited to read this Author as I have been meaning to do so since I brought this book I will tell you more about my thoughts and I what i have learnt by reading this novel :).

Kindle Diverse Books 

I have Found some Kindle books that are Diverse but do research if they are own Voices or not when i was searching on the Kindle store that it socked me that free books about the LGBTQIA Community is all eroitic I have found Three fiction books and one Memoir that I would like to read the books are short reads but i am intrested in reading them in the future if I dont get around to them this week 

Game On A Landscape lovers book By Olley White. This book plot intrigued me it follows Max who is a gamer and he is finally going to met his friend who he hasnt met and he thinks is a girl were in reality Stephanie is actually a Stefan and the plot and Max has to reassess his feelings for the person. Spectacles By Sue Perkins- When this book came out I had to get it its a Memoir about the comedian Sue Perkins. Sue Perkins is also a Lesbian I am looking forward to reading her experiences as she is one of my role models and is very funny if you don't know who Sue Perkins is she is one half of Mel and Sue and presented Great British Bake off I thought her Memoir would be great to read during the Diverse A Thon This book is £4.99 in The Kindle Store

Trip To Thomas Hardys Cottage

My Trip To Thomas Hardy Cottage
Yesterday Sunday the 25th October I went with mum to visit Thomas Hardy s  Cottage the place were he was born and grew up and wrote Far From the Madding Crowd and Under the Greenwood Tree. I am quite Lucky that I live in Dorset as so many great Authors have lived hear in the past Thomas Hardy Being one of them I read Tess of the Durbevilles after watching the BBC adaptation and I loved it early this year I went with mum to see the older version of Far from the madding crowd Film before the new version came out I enjoyed it but boy it was long I like the new version but it left so much out I haven't read Far from the madding crowd yet but I plan to. As a National  Trust property if you are a member you get in for free bonus as I am a national Trust Member. The cottage is sign posted and there is a car park just don't go during the holidays as it gets packed we had to park on the Road. There is a new Visitor center and it has a bit about his life and a really lovely Cafe and a shop any way there is a a walk through the woods to get to the cottage but once you get there boy is it in a really quite and secluded spot perfect for any future Writer and his family I would recommend going in the summer as the Garden would be really lovely to look round but its still charming in the Autumn as you get all the Autumn clours you are even allowed to sit on the beds and chairs in the cottage if you want to. The cottage is small and its a thatched Cottage so if you are tall just a warning you might have a few bumped heads like I did when I bumped my head on the door frame I suggested earlier that you should go when the kids are not at school as you are only aloud 8 people upstairs as the floor Boards are quite old. The Cottage has a proper fire and its is Tiny I could imagine Thomas Hardy growing up there and taking in the surroundings that inspire the landscape of his books its a great visit for any book lover and fan of Thomas Hardys Work I strongly recommend if you have time to Visit Max Gate Thomas Hardys home in dorchester after if you have time I am going to go to Max Gate in the future and if you have even more time i also suggest gong to Clouds hill to visit T.E Lawrence s (Lawrence of Arabia) home as well all in all 10/10 visit and i might make this a thing to visit my favorite classics Authors house during next year if i can :) Next time I will remember my Camera :)

I Love Library's

I love my Libray and recently on Book tube there has been quite a bit of discussion about them. My Libray is like a second home to me I am almost in there once a week or a few times a month. I find going to the library and picking out books a quite fun and social experience I love browsing around the sections of the library and picking up books that I wouldn't normally read and then that feeling of bringing the home and diving in straight away. I love the social aspect of going to the Library as I have Aspergers you meet a lot of interesting people form young and old to bankers to Uni Students its a great way to meet new people and get involved with your community. My local library they send me events that are happening  at library in my town or near me. The great thing about my Library card i don't have to use for one library I can use it in any East Dorset Library and the Same with my Poole Library card I can use it any Poole library no just one thats why I love them my Library card is a key to unlock any adventure I want to explore I love the choice you can have for example you don't have to check out books you check out DVDs and Audio books and you can use the Computers and print things off you can sit and read magazine or just sit and read. The only downside to my library is it closes at 1 one a Tuesday and then all day on Wednesday I wish they had enough funding to stay open every day and for longer if you could give yourself and your children too a gift take them to the Library in the week and go get yourself a card and sign up its free and go see for yourself what your Local Library has to offer lets love our library before its too late as many are closing there door as not enough people are using them which I think is a shame espcally when you are on a budget or can't afford books to buy you can pop into your local Libary and get them for free and if you don't like the boo you can take i back.

I am Back

Hi Sorry i have been neglecting this blog I have a very good reason in November i moved out of my family  home into a lovely flat and i haven't had time to read I am planning on making time for this blog that is dedicated to books reviews TBRS Wraps ups Tags I also have a you tube Channel so please do check that out at the moment I  am establishing a routine but I hope to write blog posts every Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays so yes lets get this blog on the road :)

My Parents used to tell me I used to sit on the Potty and picked up a magazine and just babbled but of course I don't remember that (embarrassing bit over lol) i have memories of going down to Wimborne Libray and Picking out books like Mog,Tiger Who came to tea and Hairy Mcclary books Which I loved as a kid. I loved the Dr Seuss books and Green eggs and Ham was my personal fave along with the cat in the hat 1 fish 2 fish among others. I also loved going to my grandparents house my granny used to read us the Jolly Postman and the Jolly Christmas post man I loved those books as they had secret letters to people you could read and my grandparents introduced me to Authors like Dr Seuss Allan and Janet Alberg and of course Peter Rabbit and Barbar My grandparents had such an awesome book collection. I also have a vivid memory of reading the very Hungry Caterpillar as well among other picture books i liked was Titch, Were Wally and we are going on a bear hunt i hated the bit were they find the bear. At Primary school all my friends were reading the Animal Ark stories by Lucy Daniels I read them too and everyone in my class seemed to want a story for Xmas or birthday and I used to love reading about the animals in those books and I had a few which I did enjoyed I was hooked on Jacqueline Wilson books she had a way of writing tough subjects for kids like Divorce Adoption and death but in a light hearted way I love her chractures like Tracy and Mac and Lottie and aged 25 i still read her books from the library. Primary school had a reading scheme well sort of to get you reading they had the Magic Key books by Oxford tree and i loved Biff Chip and Kipper and also Floppy the dog they had great adventures with a magic key and they went in stages and I used to get so excited when I got told by my teacher that I reached the more advance stage. I have a picture of me at Christmas holding up the first book in the Worst Witch series so proud to receive that book in my Christmas stocking. My first memory I think of reading a book on my own was Matalida and then Charlie and the chocolate factory and George's marvelous medicine  oh and Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dhal my reading excelled from then he sparked my imagination like no other and then there was the Butterfly lion and Why the Whales came by Michael Murpurgo Oh my that man can tug on my heart strings and he did I love his writing style and once I read books from those authors it was very difficult for me to find books that could get that standard of writing until one day i was sitting with my other classmates before the end of the day at school and my teacher read a chapter of Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets i fell in love with the whole Concept of Harry Potter the plot the world it was just everything I could wish for I didn't relise that there was a firs book before chamber of secrets and my parents got me the first three books and the rest as they say was deffiantly History. Harry Potter stayed all the way up until Secondary school when the last book came out it had a huge impact on how I read it was the first series i buddy read with friends with and the first series I actually pre-ordered each book from waterstones as they came out the last book after i finished reading it was deffiantly the end of an era and i still have my books on my shelf. At secondary school I go introduced to a lot of fantastic books i had to read for GCSE these included hound of the baskervilles, Romeo and Juliet, Great Expectations and my fave book from having to read for school of Mice and Men. My love of classics was always there I read black beauty and what Katy did next and i loved Jane Austen books my parents gave me all of Jane Austen books for my 16th birthday and from then on I loved the world and the language of Jane Austen TV also influenced my love of classics The BBC did great adaptations of Charles Dickens and Jane Austen work I read Tess of the Durbervilles and just got the story straight away reading classics for me gives you a great insight what life was like in those days girls never really got a good look in but the Classics still have a place in today's world. My friends also played a big part in what i read my friend bexs introduced me to The Alex Rider series and i fell in love with the whole spy world and having gadgets like a game boy disguised as something was a brilliant concept and Alex rider was my first book boyfriend My friend Sarah introduced me to the fabulous yet dark series of the Noughts and Crosses world that gave me a different take on the whole Race topic and switched it round. At School I read the Curios incident of the dog in the night time we had to read different books and choose wich book would get an award I loved the book and the charcture his traits reminded me of mine I have Aspergers and at the time I didn't know I had it and I connected with this charcture and reading it now I can still connect with this charcture as I have the same condition mentioned in the book. During collage and leaving school I didn't really read as much a thing called life got in the way but it didn't mean I stopped reading it just ment it was in the background untill I started my book tube channel and my Blog that my reading is taking over again and i am reading even more books its is a real escapism for me and I just love to read my Reading History will still carry on and I hope I will still read until the day I die.

#ThisBookShop (Gullivers Bookshop Wimborne Dorset)

I want to write about my fave book shop were I live in Wimborne Dorset no its not Waterstones or any commercial book shop but a small family run book shop called Gulliver's I shop in there sometimes if I can't find the book I want any were else I can find it in Gulliver's I went in there recently and brought Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins and a book for my friends birthday I went up to the counter and the staff are so lovely that I feel confident in having a conversation with them. Going into Gulliver's is like going in to a different time you don't feel like you are in the real world its small so you can find your way around easily its cosy and I find myself spending what seems like forever in there when you come out of the store it does feel like you have come out of a different time. My favorite part of this book shop is the bargain box I love picking up a bargain I really do the book shop also host some fantastic events and they have a Facebook page too were I can keep up to date sometimes you can get signed copies and they host world book night events too. The atmosphere is great and if you can not find a book you want then you can order in. I like to walk past the shop window as they have awesome displays I recommend this book shop to anyone old or young when you visit wimborne the staff are friendly its cosy small and not too busy which I like you can find the book you want. sometimes it can be hard to support your local book shop because  of prices and the offers but I will buy a book from hear as a treat and it is a treat to buy a book from my fave book shop when I step outside I feel pride that I am keeping my local book shop open and it makes me understand that in the age of the internet book shops are important its were you go for peace and quiet to browse the books to have a chat with the staff to go in and breath in the book smells i love Gulliver's as its a walk away from were i live I am looking forward to going in again and looking for my next book.
